Last updated: 2026. We collect very little, never sell anything, and tell you exactly what we keep.
This policy was written carefully but is a starting point, not a legal substitute. Have your counsel review before publishing in a regulated industry.
Cloudico (“we”, “us”) operates https://cloudico.co and the services described on it. For privacy questions, write to hello@cloudico.co.
Forms you submit. When you fill in the contact, careers, or newsletter form, we store the fields you typed (your name, email, company, message) plus your IP address and user agent for spam protection. We keep these in our database; no third party gets a copy unless we explicitly tell you (e.g. Resend handles the email delivery).
Analytics, if enabled. If we have configured an analytics tool (Google Analytics, Hotjar, Plausible, etc.) you’ll see a cookie banner before any of those scripts load. Decline and they don’t load — we never bypass that.
Standard server logs. Our host keeps standard access logs (IP, URL, response code) for security. These rotate out after 14 days.
We don’t fingerprint visitors. We don’t use session replay tools without explicit consent. We don’t sell or share data with marketing partners. We don’t have a CRM with a sales team mining your contact-form submissions for outreach.
Two cookies, at most:
cloudico_consent — remembers your cookie preference for one year. Always set, regardless of choice. If you accepted analytics, those tools set their own cookies (described in their respective policies). The consent banner makes this explicit before they load.
To respond to inquiries (engineering replies personally to every contact submission), to send the monthly brief if you subscribed, to assess job applications, and to identify and block obvious abuse. That’s it.
You can ask us to show what we have on you, correct it, or delete it entirely. Email hello@cloudico.co and we respond within 30 days. We don’t require a notarized form or other paperwork — a real engineer reads the request.
If you’re in the EU, UK, or California you also have specific statutory rights (GDPR, UK-GDPR, CCPA). The above gives you all of them in practice; we’ll comply with the formal mechanism if you reference it specifically.
Our website and database are hosted in a region we can disclose on request (currently the EU). Email delivery routes through Resend (US-based, GDPR-compliant). If we engage with you on a project, customer code and data stay in your infrastructure — we don’t copy it to ours.
Contact and career submissions: retained while relevant to a potential engagement or role, then deleted on request or after 24 months of inactivity. Newsletter: until you unsubscribe. Server logs: 14 days.
If we materially change how we handle data, we’ll update this page and the “Last updated” date above. For substantive changes affecting existing data, we email anyone whose data is affected.
Privacy questions or requests: hello@cloudico.co. We reply within one business day.
